TECHSEAL RDL 911

TECHSEAL RDL 911 is a two component sealant based on ‘THIOKOL’ – Polysulphide liquid elastomer. It consists of a ‘base’ compound and ‘accelerator’ (Curing Agent). RDL-911 (Pour Grade) is a pourable & self leveling material used for sealing of horizontal joints only.

Product Details:

ShaliSeal® PS PG is two component, polysulphide polymer based, UV resistant, flexible, tear resistant, rubbery, self-leveling, pourable, non-staining sealant, which adheres to most of building materials like cementitious substrates, aluminum, glass, wood, mild steel etc. ShaliSeal® PS PG cures at ambient temperature, has excellent recovery characteristics after extended period of compression / elongation with outstanding resistance to most chemicals, weather conditions, aging and shrinkage.It conforms to BS 5212: 1990 Part I -Type F & Type FB (Flame and Fuel Resistant), IS 12118 Part 1 – 1987, BS:4254 and ASTM C 920.

Product Details:

• Polysulphide gun grade is a gun-applied, non-sag type for vertical joints.
• CICO Seal T 680 Polysulphide pour grade is for horizontal movement joints.
• When two packs are mixed, i.e. Polysulphide resin (Pack-A) with curing agent (Pack-B), it forms a tough, flexible, durable rubber like material with strong adhesive properties on most building substrates and joints.

Resibond MP 3010
Resibond MP 3010 is one part neutral cure silicone sealant which cures to a tough rubbery solid when exposed to moisture in the air. It has excellent resistance to weathering, UV light, moisture, ozone, vibration & extreme temperature. Long life reliability cured sealant stays rubbery from -60 to 200ºC without tearing, cracking, drying out or becoming brittle. Available in translucent, black & white color. Resibond MP 3010 will not flow under its own weight. It can therefore, be applied overhead or on vertical joints and surfaces without slumming, sagging or running out.
Applications
Resibond MP 3010 sealant can be used for all interior and exterior sealing requirements involving steel sheet, aluminum roofing, flashing guttering and rain water accessories, as well as ducting and many other complicated application. Resibond MP 3010 sealant provides an excellent anti-corrosion barrier between dissimilar metals such as aluminum and steel where electrolytic corrosion can be severe problem.
 How to use

Surfaces must be clean, dry & free from grease and detergents

Mask adjacent surfaces for neat application

Cut tip of cartridge, cut nozzle to desired size at 45° angle, attach to cartridge, and place in caulking gun

Apply sealant in continuous, steady flow. Push sealant ahead of nozzle contacting both sides of joint so it is completely filled

Smooth sealant surface immediately after application before skin forms. Use spatula dipped in mild detergent. Remove masking tape before sealant skins

Excess uncured sealant should be removed immediately with clean cloth damped in mineral turpentine

When sealing a metal lap joint, apply sealant to one surface in a continuous bead through the line of intended fasteners and fasten immediately, if no fasteners are to be used ensure sufficient sealant is used and joint supported while sealant cures

 Storage
Product should be stored in a dry place in their original, properly closed containers at temperature between 2 - 40°C.
 Shelf Life
12 months in unopened packaging in a dry and cool storage place, at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
